Special session in honor of Professor Jurica Sorić on Advanced Numerical Methods in Structural Analysis: Recent Developments and Future Challenges

The Central European Association of Computational Mechanics (CEACM) is pleased to organize a special session in honor of Professor Jurica Sorić at the tenth International Congress of Croatian Society of Mechanics (10th ICCSM), to be held in Pula, Croatia, from September 28 to 30, 2022, see www.iccsm2022.fsb.hr. The special session is aimed at celebrating Professor Sorić’s outstanding and sustained contributions to the field of Computational Mechanics as well as his dedication and successful efforts both as the president of CEACM and as a member of its Scientific Board, which have significantly contributed to the visibility and the positive development of CEACM.

Thematically, the special session will be focused on recent developments and future challenges regarding advanced numerical methods in structural analysis, including the Finite Element Method, meshless methods, multiscale approaches, homogenization procedures, etc.
